Oulton was very much a bitter-sweet affair - from getting wiped out in the first race, to finishing in the Top 5 in the second - it was certainly a rollercoaster ride of emotion.
Just quickly, in the first race, I qualified 8th (1:27.777) - but only made it to turn 2...

That about sums it up perfectly
Attempt 2
Despite a slower lap-time (1:28.929), I still qualified 10th - I was back in the meat-grinder - but I'd just have to see how the race would go.
We didn't even make it to Turn 2. Many didn't even make it to Turn 2. Instead of being minced by a pack of F3 cars, I swung out wide to avoid a spinning car ahead, heavily hitting my left wheels against outside barrier - but no damage was done, so I countinued on.
By lap 2, I was in 7th - and stayed there a while - during this time, 15th/22nd was being lapped by the leaders. On lap 7, I made another position as P4 crashed out - one more accident ahead and I'd be in the Top 5!
At the penultimate corner on the final lap, it came - and partially made up for the tough luck I had previously.
The following day, I'd be out on the mainland - but I'd be back for the final race of Week 13 - and what a hell of a day it would turn out to be!
