Back in Mid-October 2021, I did a blog-post describing my history with the Nurburgring Nordschliefe.
Up to this point:
2019
April 8th - Bought Nurburgring Nordschliefe
April 13th - Bought Nurburgring GP Circuit
5th Sept, 2019 - Debut Race, Week 13, waiting for Touring car to release
Q: 9th/9th
R: 4th/9th (Last of the runners)
December: Winter Nurburgring 24 Hours, 2019
2020
April:
Nurburgring 24 Hours: 39th --> 8th
Nurburgring Endurance Championship (March - November)
(One Race A Month, 9 Rounds)
Round | Month | Car | Start | Fin | iRating |
1 | March | Porsche 911 Cup | 14th/15th in 911 Cup Class | DNF | 638 (+9) |
2 | April | Mercedes AMG GT GT3 | 7th (GT3 Class) | 3rd | 666 (+25) |
3 | May | Merc GT3 | 36th | DNF | 680 (-1) |
7 (Missed 4-6) | (Late) August | Merc | 30th | 25th | 952 (-2) |
During 2020, I was also racing Skip Barbers, and during Week/Round 8 of their season, they went to the Industrifahrten layout - from 9th place, I'd retire from the race after being wiped out from behind - with the amount of drivers that returned to the pits, I probably could have salvaged a good result out of it.
2021
Missed Nurburgring 24 Hours due to Uni
Round | Month | Car | Start | Finish | iRating |
5 | July | Merc | 29th | 7th | 1278 (+31) |
6 | (Early) Aug | Merc | 17th | DNF | 1258 (-45) |

Round 6: Retired Lap 15 after being car 13, on Lap 13, in 13th.
2022
Following on From October 2021, I made four further appearances at the Nurburgring Nordschliefe Circuit.
Kicking off the year, April coincided with my half term, so I was able to do my first Nurburgring 24 Hours since 2020 - and it went phenomenally right up until the 15 hour mark! In the 16th hour, one of my drivers crashed the car, and the mood was such we didn't want to continue.
We made it so far that we only lost two positions of our qualifying position of 19th - and indeed gained iRating - with all but me gaining +3 iRating - I gained (or iGained) +4 putting me up to 1144.
In March, the usual Nurburgring Endurance Series kicked off once again - although, like last year, I only managed two races again.
I'm hoping with no uni next year (2023), I can bump this number up from 2.
Round | Month | Car | Start | Finish | iRating |
5 | July | (First race with Mercedes AMG GT GT3 EVO/2020) | 26th | DNF | 1181 (+7) |
9 | October | Aston Martin Vantage GT4 | 4th (Class) | 5th (Class) | 1302 (+18) |
Round 9 was CRAZY with the Top 6 GT4's all in the pits at the same time.
To round off the year, The GT4 challenge (I was competing in that season) headed to the Nurburgring Nordschliefe and caused some absolute HAVOC.
In the first race, I didn't qualify (separate qualifying) - I went from 23rd, to hovering just outside the Top 10, made a pitstop, and finished 13th.
In the second, I DID qualify - and seemed to be the only one to do so (qualify), and "qualified" on pole.
Very few others (2nd place and 26th) - from what I can see - iRacing is down for maintainace - from here, I finished an absolutely jaw-dropping 2nd place.
In late 2022, (17th December) I will participate in the Winter Nurburgring 24 Hours.
