The Lead Up To A Dramatic December.

I'll admit - my blog uploads have been...sporadic - but it's my only way of processing what has happened in this wild life.

Murphy's Law (also known as sod's law) states "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" and in some instances is extended to "at the worst possible time."

I feel like I've been on auto-pilot since returning home from Spain in October.

Back then it was 67 days until Christmas and I had enough time to process everything - I blinked and now it's 2 days until Christmas!

Like what?! Where has the time gone?

Prologue

23rd October

On 23rd October, Ringmeister (a series at the Nordschliefe where the car changes every week instead of the track) was running the Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

In a previous iteration of Ringmeister, I managed to start on pole and finished 4th.

During Ringmeister, I always give the races two attempts - one with qualifying, one without.

(without quali: 4th --> 4th)

24th October

The 24th marked 11 years of me posting on Facebook.

25th Oct

Cat passed away 1 year ago.

Before I knew it, it was November...and things got a little crazy.

W1 (On Mainland) (30 Oct - 5th Nov)

1st Nov - Tesco starts hiring in my local area, but nothing comes of it.

2nd Nov - Car Diagnostic

3rd Nov - Cheshunt Fireworks (missed)

4th Nov - Woking Fireworks (Also final race day @ Oulton Park)

5th Nov - Brands Hatch Fireworks (Big Finale)

W2 (On Mainland) (6th Nov - 12th Nov)

9th - 12th Nov: Attended race of Remembrance in Wales.

November ended pretty quietly with a new Teardown DLC on the 15th (Nov)

Attempt at a job on the 20th (needed business car insurance, didn't have)

Work on my car on the 23rd (issues found during diagnostic on the 2nd)

And then me staying above 1,300 iRating on the 27th November.

But it being 1000 days since my last win on the 28th.

03/04/2023 - 1 Year above 1000's iRating (1,100 iRating +)

29/09/2023 - 1 Year above 1,100's iRating (1,200 iRating +)

17/11/2023 - 1 Year above 1,200's iRating (1,300 iRating +)

28/11/2023 - 1 Year above 1,300's iRating (1,400 iRating +)

WIP - 2024 - 1 Year Above 1,400's iRating (1,500 iRating +)

And then it was December!

Just like last year, I aimed to do a blog a day.

Last year I kicked things off with my first "BAD" (Blog A Day) on the 3rd Dec.

This year, I shuffled things back to the 6th.
