Blog A Day: Day 8 - 15 - A Week 13 Review

Hello and welcome back to Blog A Day! It's been a while! Apologies for the lack of blogs, it's been rather stressful with difficult days and difficult hours - trying to cram in work, week 13 (at the time), and writing and editing blogs.

Two weeks ago (9th - 15th December), it was Week 13 on iRacing, a fun, relaxed week between the final "official" week of racing in Season 4, 2025, and the new season, Season 1, 2026.

I was planning on writing these as seperate blogs, but time got ahead of me - On Tuesday 9th December, I had my first race in 129 Days - or 4 months. Armed with new pedals, I was ready to dive straight in! During this Season's Week 13, I participated in the "Battle Of The Small Wings" series - a monoposto series which pitched the Formula Renault 2.0, Formula 3 and Pro-Mazda up against one another. All in all, it was an incredibly successful Week 13, finishing all races entered in the Top 10.

Battle Of The Little Wings

(R1/R6) Dec. 9th - Rudskogen 13th -- > 8th (R2/R6) Dec. 10th - Lime Rock Park

10th --> 7th (R5/R6) Dec 13th - Summit Point 8th --> 8th

(R6/R6) Dec 14th - Oulton Park 14th --> 4th On the races I missed (Dec 11th & Dec 12th) the series visited the two new tracks on the service - Miami and Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. During this time, I tried out iRacing's other content, including the brand new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and Formula 4 cars at the recently-refreshed Mount Panorama circuit. In the Spa race on Dec 11th, I started 3rd (miraculously) and finished a solid 5th - despite dropping down to 7th.

the two drivers ahead fell at the final hurdle, allowing me to come home in 5th. In the Bathurst race (Dec 12th), I started from pole (miraculously) and finished 4th - t'was a fun day out
