Blog A Day: Day 1 - Reviewing My Predictions For The Year!

IT'S ADVENT! IT'S DECEMBER ALREADY!!! WHERE HAS THE YEAR GONE?! Hello and welcome to December, Advent and most importantly: This year's Blog A Day!

The premise is simple - one blog a day until Christmas! What's not to love?

A year ago, I wrote some predictions for 2025 - and I thought it would be fun to see how close I got to said predictions!

2013 was the last time it was "my" Chinese New Year, so I was pretty excited for this one.

With 3 trackdays in the books - and the fact I'm aiming to get my race licenced by February - I can pretty confidently say, that this has been an absolutely fucking incredible year.

And then to top it off with a Bastille concert in November. Yeah. 2025 was special.

Following that, I ramble on about racing in a HRT Livery for Season 2, 2025.

I didn't. Plans change, and I raced in the wrong F3 series - but I was too in love with my TMS Central Racing F3 Livery.

And the Nurburgring 24 Hours?

I think that one aged like fine wine, I just honestly wish I could have finished the Nurburgring Endurance Challenge season - without it fizzling out into a mess of pedals, bolts and blipping brake pedals - but hey, there's a goal for next year.

This one is a tough pill to swallow. Had you asked me in late July, I would have said "I'm currently the best I've ever been", but alas - a tough final weekend in August has left me in 29th.

As they always say, the only way is up.

The good news is that 100th is now 1312 iRating - and I'm more than "challenging" 1221, and have also overcome "The July Downfall" so there is good news to be shared.
